Yoga’s stretching and strengthening exercises bring all of the major muscle groups into balance. As well as improving cardio vascular fitness, they have a positive effect on all of the functional systems of the body; the nervous system, digestion and elimination, hormonal and immune systems.  Breathing exercises, meditation, mindfulness and relaxation eases stress and anxiety. Classes last for ninety minutes, beginning with a brief meditation and  breathing exercises (pranayama), we then move into the exercises and end with a relaxation or meditation.
